Texting and Driving
There was a lady coming up to the stoplight in the lane next to me on her phone, the light to TURN left turned green and she must have thought it was for going straight because she just kept driving through like nothing was going on around her and t-boned the car turning left, completely ruining the front end of her car. Needless to say she probably wont be driving and texting again any time soon..

Dangerously Texting and Driving
Since texting/handling a cell phone is illegal in Chicago, my brother decides he'd put his phone down on his lap while driving. He's looking down and texting while going 60 mph on a local street and never saw the car stopped in front of him at a light. Luckily, it was mostly bumper damage for the other car but his car was wrecked, and a cop saw what had happened and ticketed him.
